exmap 2.0: Simple and lightweight maphack

I've updated the maphack to version 2.6 and changed how it works a bit. This should hopefully help with people who were not able to get it running with the limited user setup before. Please refer to the readme for instructions. Here is a list of all the changes:

• Added the option to always show enemy health bars.
• Added configuration options for all features.
• Improved compatibility with Steam client.
• Improved compatibility with running under a limited user.
• Improved injection technique to no longer require a DLL.

It is because if they figure out the mechanism I use to keep this from being detected, they will fix that issue, so it will no longer be effective.



Unfortunately I have no plans to add any brightness modifications just because I'm not familiar with that part of the game and I really don't want to go digging for it.

If someone else makes it I'll happily incorporate it with their permission.

Hey maper, I still getting the error about EE: 0x0a0000006 and LE: 18 while running steam. I've tried running the program as adminstrator but still getting errors of it. The same users part that I tried was right click and run it as the same user but still didn't work. Any solutions or help I can find?

Can you support Korean users? The process name "PathOfExile_x64_KG.exe". When I injected the dll version 2.5, it worked very well. I want to use the enemy's health bar.

New version still crashes always on zone change @win7 64bit....

If you can get me a crash dump I can take a look at why this happens to you. If you download a tool called ProcDump, you can use the following command to install it as a post-mortem debugger. Then the next time the game crashes it will write a crash dump to the folder you specified. Here's the command, which you need to run in an administrator command prompt:

procdump.exe -ma -i c:\Dumps

If you upload the dump somewhere I can take a look.

Then I would shift-click and run the game as the limited user, and then shift-click and run exmap.exe as the limited user.

Sure! I've uploaded version 2.6.1 which should add support for that process name.

Keep in mind that I don't have a Korean client to test with so I have no idea if it will be stable or not.

Well, for me, I download steam and poe on my second drive not the main. So its kinda weird that you brought that up. Also I dont know how to run limited user for poe or not sure I'm doing it right. You essentially create an windows account with no admin privilege and run poe like that?

Updated to version 2.7 which includes brightness (look for DisableLightRadius in the settings, it's off by default). Now you can play with the lights on.

Won't work with limited user. Try with same user, worked for me.

I've released a CE table version of all of the cheats that you can now use if you're having trouble running exmap.exe.
