I still can't find fullbright address (though I'm rookie anyways), so it really takes some time

The most important is the HP Bars, which you should implement if possible.

Was working yesterday, today it won't. Tried injecting it with CE but an error shows up "failed finding address of KERNEL32!RtILookupFunctionEntry"

I will not be adding more anti-detection over time.
Is this some sort of matter of principle that once something is found.. it'd be incredibly difficult to attempt to obscure it again ?

I've updated the maphack to version 2.6 and changed how it works a bit. This should hopefully help with people who were not able to get it running with the limited user setup before. Please refer to the readme for instructions. Here is a list of all the changes:

    • Added the option to always show enemy health bars.
    • Added configuration options for all features.
    • Improved compatibility with Steam client.
    • Improved compatibility with running under a limited user.
    • Improved injection technique to no longer require a DLL.

It is because if they figure out the mechanism I use to keep this from being detected, they will fix that issue, so it will no longer be effective.

Unfortunately I have no plans to add any brightness modifications just because I'm not familiar with that part of the game and I really don't want to go digging for it.

If someone else makes it I'll happily incorporate it with their permission.

jeez we need it that much, dear maper
it's a nosebleed to play the game without fullbright
hope someone can give us the fullbright solution (personally I wrote before that I don't have enough skill to provide the updated brighthack )

either way, deeply appreciate your effort and recent update
    big up, mate!
