    Just a question to dlr5668.
    I'm using the version, from GitHub - vadash/Path-of-Exile-modding-tool: 3.10+ mod, experimenting.
    Since I'm using a potato PC with HDD, and downloading 20gb from GGG is a pain with every new patch (and a new one is coming tomorrow).
    What should be the procedure to avoid the launcher to download the "content" file (21gb) again in every new patch?
    Should I make a backup copy of the file? Or I will not have problems?
    Thx in advance.

    unless you use texture compression or steam it wont redownload full file

    Hello,
    First thanks for this awesome tool.
    I did read almost the whole post but idk what i'm doing wrong. Here is what I tried :
    - saved backup for particles and effects
    - tried max fps and still can see stuff on the ground and everything.
    - restored backup for both particles and effects
    - tried null particles > Disable only list adding
    (ice_storm
    \Effects\Spells\ground_effects_v2\ice
    \ground_effects\vaal_cloud\) and saved the list
    I can still see the effects on the ground.
    - restored both particles + effects
    - tried Disable ALL = > I can still see all the effects

    what am I doing wrong ? I have the latest version of poenulleffects

    It is really a great tool.
    I have several questions about how to config it.
    1. The Casual Mode, Particiles and Effects are three different way to remove different things?
    2. I am using Casual mode now level 2 now, if I want to additionally remove one more specific spell effect. Is it possible?
    3. When I fight with Sirus, he will call a circle wall. Looks like that will be removed in Casual Mode event in level Max effects. Is it possible to show it?

    There is a particular on-death delirium effect that resembles a fountain of small splinters exploding out.

    With the current settings(allowing exceptions), only the spikes will show and not the bomb that they come out of, does anyone have any idea what the lines that need to be added to the exception rule is so we can see it?

    Let me see if I can find a video....

    I have another question, after I installed the tools for the first time, I should backup first.
    There are one backup in particle and one backup in Effect tabs. So I should click both two back button? Or I only need to backup once in either particle tab or effect tab?
    Just now, I try the Sirus again.
    During normal mapping, I am using level 2. (level 1 = Max FPS).
    When I fight Sirus, I try to change the config from level 2 to Max Effects. But I cannot see the Deatomization Storm. Then I quite the game and manually load the backup in misc Tab.
    Then I can see the Deatomization Storm. But the Max effects should = to original backup, right?

    Technically, when you press Casuals "Make Good" button the first time, it saves all not-nulled particle files into the backup folder - and usually that's enough. There's no point to make the same backup using Particles tab if you already pressed "Make Good" button. However it doesnt save Monster.ot file (dead monster corpses) because GGG change it almost every minor patch so loading older one could lead to some issues (as it was with Shadows few years ago). So you can save it using Effects tab if you really want, each tab saves different backup files. But I don't think it's neccessary.Disabling monster corpses is the main boost to fps imo.

    Most users should use just one button in the Casual tab and don't care about rest tabs, it's already fine.

    Right. Max Effects == Loading full backup. It does the same thing as "Misc -> Load Dir" with app/backup/ input parameter.
    Maybe the game just didn't load that effect, not sure what happened.

    Greetings.
    yesterday i spent more than 8hr trying to understand the new "skill structure" (some skill have not changed, some just a bit, the others - are now some sort of weird magic) compared of what was 3y. ago...
    In the past i changed Lightning arrow to be like bloody-gore arrow (without purchasing MTX ofc.) and it worked like charm (not perfectly-visual-ideal, but very nice to the eye.
    Now i fcking can't make it work. Changing almost every parameter in ggpk related to LA to be like bloody_arrow but it didn't change visually (only bloody hit is as it should be).
    Soo... if anyone have thу SKILLS to change skills (and LA maybe?) to mtx, maybe you could help? will be very appreciate any sort of help ^_^
    btw, i successfully changed Blast Rain to sort of ebony_blast_rain (mtx skin) and i'm sharing (VT link ofc.) it with you.

    remember always make copy of your Content.ggpk (or at least make copy of original files of what you want to change in it)
    changed la from the past if anyone want to see/start testing it (i can't make it work now): anonfile

    anyone knows whats the string name for sirus meteor maze?
    i use the master list except list however when fighting sirus, the maze is invisible when he uses it.
