PoE Currency Flipper
PoE Currency Flipper
The PoE Currency Flipper is a mostly automated tool that helps you buy currency from players in trade chat. You then sell said purchased currency on poe.trade for example, to make a profit (350+ chaos profit per day reported). There are currently two variants of PoE Currency Flipper, Lite and Advanced. The Lite variant is completely free (and in the below Download section) whereas the Advanced version is paid for.
Features
Lite
- 12 Currencies to list at custom rates (Alchs, Alts, Blessed, Chances, Chisels, Divines, Regals, Each Sextant, Silver, Vaals)
- Ability to post pre-set trade message containing above currencies to multiple channels of your choice (e.g. post from channel 1 to 70 and then restart at 1)
- User defined restart delay for multi-channel posting (e.g. post from channel 1 to 70 and then delay before restarting at 1)
- Automated interactions and communications with seller
- Automated actions (e.g. going AFK or go to hideout)
- Ability to switch between Steam and standalone versions of the PoE client
Advanced
- Rewritten in mainstream language to increase performance
- All of the Lite features plus:
- 19 Currencies to list at custom rates (All Lite Currencies + Chromatics, Exalts, Fusings, GCPs, Jewellers, Regrets, Scourings), all of which are optional
- Ability to post pre-set trade message to a single, user definable channel with custom delay between messages.
- Whisper notifications
The Advanced version can be purchased for the current league and you will be entitled to receive any and all updates which occur during your purchase period.
In order to purchase or request prices for the Advanced version please contact me at [email protected] or via Discord: Breached#2431.
Usage instructions
Go to the below GitHub link in the 'Download' section (which will take you to the latest release) and download the 'PoECurrencyFlipper.zip' folder. Extract this folder and then see the README.txt file in resulting folder for further instructions and information.
Also, here is a basic tutorial video:
Feedback
Already, I've seen a lot of people using this tool in the trade chat channels and I've even been speaking to some of you there. I'm glad it has been well received and that you are benefiting from it.
This is a new tool and while it is working, I have further plans to make it more advanced and automated. Please contact me if you have any ideas or notice anything not quite working.

I most likely will be hosting on github soon so people can request and contribute. Just want to get a feel and see what I can solo first as it’s my first software/tool release so exciting for me. If it is really popular too I was thinking of rewriting in a more mainstream language to open up the possibilities. So at the minute I think the open source is more a case of when rather than if at the minute.

That should be quite a simple/easy addition so should be sorted soon.

I think he means pulling the rates from poe.trade
After a quick test :
[*] IMPORTANT :
- The trade chat message runs in loop with no delay.
- You should be able to choose which currency you want to ask in trade chat, not all of them are worth flipping all the time
- Need an easy way to stop flooding the trade chat (like a button or shortcut) and an input for the spamming delay
[*] Less important :
- Not sure what the "Reload" button does
- The "Change Rates" button opens a new instance of the program (or the gui maybe)
- The "Set channel" button opens the chat but does nothing
[*] Advices :
- I think you are reading from your settings.ini to do any actions, you don't need to if you set your input as variables and read from the variables (not sure how it works on autohotkey)
- Make the close button either to actually close or notify that it will stay in the system tray
- You should use the same order for the currencies used on the POE website and poe.trade; something like :
Orb of Alteration
Orb of Fusing
Orb of Alchemy
Chromatic Orb
Jeweller's Orb
Orb of Chance
Cartographer's Chisel
Orb of Scouring
Orb of Regret
Regal Orb
Divine Orb
I haven't tried in "Interaction" and "Actions" as most all the other I tried doesn't seem to function as intended.

Thanks for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
'Reload' literally just reloads the instance.
'Set Channel' uses the values input in the two edit boxes and sets them as 'channelStart' and 'channelStop' in the settings.ini file. I then reloads the GUI so it reflects the change in the boxes.
For choosing currency that is something I need to develop into it as stated in the thread but just need to decide how best to do it.
When you say it loops with no delay, do you mean that it constantly goes causing you to be kicked to the clients login screen? Or would you say there is roughly a second between actions? There are 'Sleep' delays in the loop and they work ok when I run it so if they don't for others I need to try and figure what's going wrong.
Thanks again for feedback.

When I say it loops with no delay I mean:
There is a delay between each action, but not between loops.
Which means if I set to 1, 1 it just flood 1 channel with like a second between each message.
Same if i put ie. 19, 20 it just flood those 2 channels.
The function works, but it needs a delay between each loop so it doesn't spam.

Ah right, understood. It needs the functionality to post to a singular channel still. Got it.

How do you deal with the price-fixers?

How do you mean sorry? This (at present) is only designed to aid with purchasing currency from users.

He means the guys/group of guys, lowering the price so they can buy at lower price but since you are not pulling the data right now the user has to watch by himself.
