damn that laggy is so damn annoying
i really need a hud portable version.
the only function I want is to see monsters and items on the map. T______T

Is there any way to see and confirm if the program ran as limited user? Just to verify it works as it should
Also wondering if there is a way to see how many dig sites(with sulphites) that an area has upon entering it?

Task Manager, details tab, poe's exe should have your limited user's name next to it.
We could probably tell if the assets for a dig site exists, but not how many. Much like other assets. We can see IF the assets are loaded for an object, which is a cue that the object is in the area, but we can't tell how many of that object exists, because they all share the same files, etc.

I am so glad this came out. I got a warning back at beginning of Delve, and have been playing half-blind ever since! The limited-user protocol makes it possible to play with both eyes open once again!
Instead of putting the code into a batchfile as has been recommended I simply edited the "target" of the shortcut in my start menu to read:
C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:jibjab /savecred "cmd /C cd "C:/Program Files (x86)/Grinding Gear Games/Path of Exile/" && PathOfExile_x64.exe"
and it works as intended, with the poe process showing the alternate username in task manager.
Brilliant, whoever thought this up.

Chests are not showing on the preload thingy.
I remember back in the days poehud was "scanning" the map and showing on the up-right corner chests and their type, master missions and whatnot. Is there a way to have that back?
So you can ctrl-click a zone until the correct chest/master/whatever appears?

Chests are now loaded when you get close to them (same distance as monsters). I don't know if this also applies to masters. If you aren't seeing them in the preloads, then it probably does.

Thing is... Masters are shown in the preload (and they show in the top-right corner), chests don't. Is there a way to "fix" this and make them appear again somehow?
I'm asking this because sometimes (completely random) some chests are shown in the preload window and considering what you just said it's prolly the chests that are close to my position, but still... being able to find out immediately if that map has "valuable items" would be amazing

Your best bet would be to either go back in time before GGG made the change, or maybe get a job at GGG and revert the change yourself. You may be able to hack their servers and find some sort of exploit to make the server tell you about all map entities.

Have a question for the seasoned PoEHUD users. I'm new to PoEHUD and have started using it (as limited user) but I struggle to find a plugin that takes care of flasks usage. I'm using AutoQuit now and I'd like to ad a flask usage plugin. Any help is appreciated.
