Might be, I can't really check at the moment though so I'm really sorry, if anyone wants to devote the time right now to find out why some people's hud doesn't work and submit patches I'll merge them in.

It is, and will be for as long as I can keep it that way, although I am anticipating large AC changes for a4 (or at least I'm not ruling them out).

Should we expect any updates with beta access officially for sale now? We just need offsets for the beta server?

You shouldn't expect this to work with beta, unless you yourself decide to fix the offsets, I have neither time nor the will to update for something that will get wiped every few days, where offsets change often, and that won't keep the same structs/struct sizes when it goes live.
You are free to fork and patch as you will.

Agreed, especially with the supporter pack access. I can also understand not wanting to deal with the hassle. How difficult would it be to learn how to update offsets, ect. to make it work?

hvc - did you end up getting beta? I know you're not interested in finding offsets every reset, but this current version should last for at least a week. thoughts?

Why do you need this for the beta? Most of the useful features are implemented in-game.

do you have some sort of inside knowledge? now that loot filter is in game, you believe hud will not have a place in poe?

With the BIG changes to mobs damage and the bugged reflect at the moment the 'warning' and Minimap overlay of mobs are whats missing the most tbh. The loot filter and dps calc i have never really needed....but knowing where shit is and whats around the corner is a big help to survivability.

minimap mobs + seeing loot out of screen is by far the most useful features of the hud, neither are included in the beta.

Right... absolutely. Honestly, I really appreciate the ability to see if there's a master/strongbox/exile in my zone too...

Guys you have to realize that no one is a master at updating this with whatever GGG does. So in a beta you are going to likely have multiple changes and that takes a lot of time to do.

So the idea that you want someone to dedicate significant amounts of time to maintain a tool for something that is going to change and get wiped is unreasonable.

Plan on the fact that PoEHUD will be down for some time to come likely. No amount of begging and pleading will change that. IF someone updates it, it will because they wanted the tool to work for their own gameplay and they were kind enough to share the patches. No one gets paid to do any of this so don't expect them to do something that isn't in their own interest.

I can see the merit in features such as monsters on minimap and knowing whether there is a strongbox or master in the zone. However, as Jaerin said, there is likely to be frequent updates during the beta. It would be a lot of wasted effort to update them now.
