my bad, I actually opened it from windows task manager, so I thought its process properties.

I can tell you how to remove that, change the build name or project name, since it is open source, you can include a batch script that auto compiles the source with random properties

EDIT: it did worked, no trace of poehud string in the memory image (process).
I changed the assembly name from C# project property.

actually this information is in the process memory. Checked it by running cheat engine on poehud.
but I am thinking does GGG scan other process memory for patterns???

If you didn't pay for your antivirus service, then change to a different one like AVG.
If you're on Windows 10, just use the windows built-in antivirus. Honestly you don't need a 3rd party antivirus on Windows 10.

When I bring up the install, it shows a list of other things to install with the package. I am wondering what I need specifically (or is the base install enough?) to be able to compile the exe from Github.
