ExileHUD - External overlay for Path of Exile (work in progress)

Introduction

This is a multihack I have been using while playing Path of Exile for a very long time now. It works by reading memory and drawing stuff on an invisible window on top of Path of Exile's window. If you find any bugs or have any suggestions please PM me here or post in this thread. Using this program is a bannable offence, use at your own risk.

Usage instructions

• .NET Framework v4 or higher is needed to run the program since it is written in C#.
• Path of Exile must be run in fullscreen windowed or just windowed, no real fullscreen.
• There are some settings you can edit in "config/settings.txt", mostly enabling and disabling features.
• This program uses SlimDX to render so you need to install the End User Runtime for .NET v4.0 x86 from this page. Make sure you install the x86 version even if you have Windows x64.

Features

• Healthbars: Displays healthbars on top of allies, enemies and minions in different colors.
• Minimap icons: Draws icons for enemies, minions and strongboxes in different colors
• Item alert: Plays a sound when a rare, unique, 5-link, 6-link, map, currency item is dropped
• Tooltip item level: Shows item level of item on its tooltip
• Boss alerts: Shows a warning when certain monsters (reflect, inner treasure, wealth, rogue exile, invasion boss) are in range of you.
• Ingame menu to quickly edit settings
• Experience per hour: Shows current XP/hour and estimated time to level up
• Preload alerts: Tells you if there is a strongbox, rogue exile or invasion boss in the current area.
• Zoomhack
• Fullbright
• Maphack

Troubleshooting
Make sure you are running as admin.
Here are some potential solutions if you are getting a blackscreen or really bad flickering:

Solution 1

1. Right click your desktop background and select 'Personalize'.
2. Change the theme to one of the Aero themes.
3. Wait for it to apply and then you are done.

Solution 2

1. Open the start menu and search for 'transparency'
2. Click on the option that says 'Find and fix problems with transparency and other effects'.
3. Keep clicking next until finished

Solution 3

1. Open the start menu and search for 'performance'
2. Click on the option that says 'Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows'.
3. Make sure 'Enable desktop composition' is on.

Solution 4

1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel (don't know how to do this for non-nvidia cards, but should be easy to google)
2. Go to Manage 3D Settings
3. Disable "Antialiasing - FXAA" on the Global Settings tab
4. Click apply

Just decompile it if you want the source. C# / .NET stuff is super easy to decompile, not at all like C/C++ stuff.

As you guys know (or not) we had a tool called ECP from pushedx (ExiledCheatersPlatform (1.X)) and that was just the best tool I've ever seen for PoE. Suggestions for ExileHUD, you guys can take a look on same features ECP had.
I didn't try this tool so far but I'll do it now. From what I read on this initial release, I'm expecting the best
I want to thank Evozer for sharing this with us. I'll be here very often giving suggestions and helping on what I can. I pretty sure other members/users will also help. We have great coders around

Uhm. I just tried to run it but I get black screen as soon I double click on the executable. I'm on win8.1 x64 and have game on windowed fullscreen. The game stays on back working fine but we can't see anything. If I close the tool, the black screen goes away and I can see the game again...
I guess the problem may be the new game patch 1.1.1b.

No it is not because of the new update. There are 3 solutions that have worked for me in the past, both on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 but please note that these instructions are for Windows 7. Shouldn't be too hard to find the equivalent in Windows 8.1.

Hmm, I'm guessing this doesn't work for Garena?

I would also love a "reflect mob" / "rogue exile" alarm as well. That would help minimize exp loss from deaths.

I'll probably add some sort of alert for mobs with reflect later today, currently improving performance since I noticed that the CPU usage can be fairly high in certain situations. Also, I don't really remember what features ECP had, could someone give me a list?

it was an extensible platform with plugins. some of the things it accomplished was hooking the minimap draw func and inserting its own markers inside of it.

It also had zoomhack, autoflask, itemalert. the usual.

The biggest though was the plugins portion of it. The platform itself actually did very little, the plugins did all the heavy lifting.
