I have a nasty problem regarding an ocurring crash when I try to enter Lunaris Temple level 3 and there only. Can I get some help from You guys .

P.S. I am using nVidia GTS 250, driver ver. 314.20, could this be the problem?

Wish this didn't have to happen but I just got home from work to find out my account was banned permanently. I have no idea how they were able to track it down since I've been using other similar hacks found in this thread. I am not saying you WILL be banned, but just be aware it MAY happen.

Probably behavioural banning. Might have been doing something like farming large chests and running directly to the chest when it was in the instance. Or farming a boss and running directly to them every time.

I have a feeling it was a bit more than that. I pull some pretty bold moves on my accounts and have yet to ever have an issue. Such as using the pathfinding to make runs to Merv every 60 seconds or so for an hour or two straight. Entering and exiting the same map prolly 40 times a minute hunting Exiles. And running the Alpha bot on here on 30 second no mob kill relog settings which logs me in and out at a ridiculous rate. All this with mods and staff on my friends list, which can see the notifications of such.

I've not been banned, probated, or warned on anything.

The first thing I'd say is try making a bunch of different Lunaris 3 instances on the normal client, without using any other 3rd party software. If you get crashes in the same circumstance as you do now, then it's something non-ECP related.

If you find you get no crashes at all, then it has to be something ECP related, but it would be hard to find out, since it only happens in that instance. In ECP 2.X, I'll have a better system for helping identify crashes, but for now, I don't think there's much I can do to help you with ECP 1.X, sorry!

Sorry to hear! Sounds like you triggered some server sided detection for something.

If it was anything client sided that was "sneakily added", this thread would have another 10 pages of ban reports!

So far, the only people I've seen banned across other boards are people who are using a bot or participating in RMT. That is not to say using any cheating programs like MapHack, ZoomHack, FullBright, or any of the stuff I've done won't eventually lead to a ban, because it will, as I mentioned in my original post, but your case sounds like something really specific that they are currently targeting rather than just a random ban.

Mind sharing your thoughts for what you could get banned? Like what were you doing "out of proportions"?

i can tell you its easy to detect memory writing, but if you only read and mod your own "looking" like this tool its hard to detect. they need screen auto tool. btw i did merv runs every 30-60 sec for 1 week without any tools. so this cant be a reason for banning.

for crashes check your driver for updates, try some vid settings ingame, if you still get crashes on a single map ... dont join it :P

I know you don't want to add it, but with a chicken integrated I would happily pay 30 dollars a month for this software. The friend I play with would too.

You should just charge outright and see how many people would actually be willing to pay. When its between not having the software at all, or paying for it, im sure many will opt to pay.

I beg to differ with that opinion as some people would love to pay but cannot. When I say cannot I say it with sincerity and honesty as I have just had a newborn and got hurt in Afghanistan. Now if I had the money I would without question, donate but at the same time if a person or company forces me to pay to use something then I am DEFINITELY not supporting it and is one of the reasons I left D3 and went to PoE.

I am honestly tired of the "I got the money so screw everyone else" attitude and is why I started learning C# myself. When you begin to force people to pay you have people out there who do see it as I do and then will not support when they can. I planned on supporting next month as I see how much work this person is putting in this and it is well deserved, especially since I started learning C# and that is NOTHING compared to what I need to learn with what this person is doing.

Aside from that he is the only person right now with a program this great and if he had just start straight out charging people he could jeopardize himself as there is no way to know exactly what other programs are being produced and what they will be charging. It could actually severely hurt him if he did. I say he but I do not know if it is a he or she.

This person is doing it exactly the right way and is marketing himself great right now.

Lastly, I want to say thank you for all the hard work and great job on the program and as a disabled vet gives me hope that there is something I can still do to try and support my family in a few years. Keep up the great work and when I can I will definitely support what you are doing.

Yeap, I understand your position Verminus82, but a few things in response, just to clarify.

I'm not going to TL;DR about why things are the way they are but I'll summarize about me and what I'm doing, and why.

For me, it's about doing something in life I truly enjoy (programming/reversing), finding something to apply it to that I truly believe in (in this case, Path of Exile, what GGG is doing with the game and why this game exists in the first place), and then finding a way to tie everything together into a project that you can profit from and be proud of what you've done and how you made money (for me, that's off my own work).

The first part of that, I've had covered for quite a while now. Programming since about 2003, and reversing since 2006. The second part has proven to be a big challenge, as PoE is the first game to ever fit under that category for me. The third part has proved to be the biggest challenge, but something I wanted to try and finally accomplish myself with PoE.

That was the idea behind what became ECP 1.X. It's not just about money, because I've had things since mid-2012 that would generate money, if the circumstances were right, and that's what I wanted to pursue, then those opportunities were certainly there. However, that's not what I wanted, so that's why the only things I "released" were videos and tl;dr posts about what I was doing on BH.

So in a sense, I failed to accomplish all my goals with ECP 1.X. It happens, you can't expect everything to always work out. I mentioned in one of my previous replies why things didn't turn out the way I was hoping them to. I had a pretty good feeling things wouldn't work out for a while, but you have to at least try, so there's no "what if" haunting you when you don't and look back.

That's why ECP 1.X will come to an end after the next patch. It was designed and structured in a way that would help support the goal it was trying to achieve. Since it's failed in that regards, and there's no way it's going to work out, even with time, it has to end. However, that doesn't mean I'm giving up on anything or leaving, because as they say, "the road to success is paved with failure". ECP 2.X will be released with a different goal and structured in a way that supports a different vision. I'm sure most people wouldn't understand because it seems all the same to them, but it's very important to me to create that separation.

ECP is just one project of many I'll be working on for PoE. I've spent a lot of time getting to a point where I can almost do whatever I need for any type of project. Obviously, the cheating sides of things is a ton of fun, but as I've mentioned, has a really small target audience which will most likely stay small in such a niche game. There's a lot of opportunities to do things on the non-cheating side too, and those things come with a much larger (legit) audience base, so I'll be exploring that as well as I try to accomplish my goals.

can you tell us which map you repeat for exile hunting? do some have a higher chance of spawning them than others?

It is a bummer that things will come to an end for EC hack. But I must say man, you truly are a people person man, here to please most. I thank you for your efforts in the hack and wanted to say that i am looking forward to other work you have for PoE.

As a side note, I truly only really used the hack for the pickIt system. I thought that was a pretty cool feature.
