Not to say there is no longer bot in the game, because there most certainly is.. however I'm pretty sure I saw this exact video a few months ago so someone is just trying to stir up some shit.
Edit:
Forum - General Discussion - So many bots in Sarn. - Path of Exile
The link above shows what I'm talking about.
Some people have too much time on their hands. I guess I am one of them since I took the time to find it

Some disturbance in the bot's scene is good for business: weaklings drop out, botters are not in the spotlight of community and currency prices change to more reasonable.
From bot user that is mainly into RTM perspective:
- if there is a good, paid and safe bot, then it is just a matter of investment (who works in this business know well what to do after ban-hammer like this),
- if there is no alternative: change game to more profitable (hey, Im profit driven, not game-driven, so I can leave PoE...)
- banhammer for public cheats is good for business: we are not in the spotlight and weak botters are dead to us
From bot user that uses it to farm currency for personal use:
- will play without it, maybe use other automation tools (Oh, wait ),
- probably will not pay for private bot,
- there is a chance that will change to another game (because the loss of main account hurts as hell).
From PoeHUD (and other QoL programs) user perspective:
- well... botters make prices too high, nice thing that they are mostly gone,
- oh sh... why do they need to hurt us!?!
- can pay for QoL and some automation tools, but it depends on the price
- in some way is "crippled" because of lack of gamesense and reflexes of normal player
In the end: change is good. Adapt. Overcome.
BTW:
It is sad that some people with disabilities were hurt because of the ban-hammer. There is nothing to laugh about: when games are your love and your body does not make you able to compete even with average players... banning so many tools simply ends your journey.
