[Enchant/AD farm] Illithid Enclave

Greetings,

Illithid Enclave is the last solo content instance, the last quest in Whispering Caverns (with the exception of Dread Vault), at the moment. So, its node farming is better quality than the other instances. The least rank of runes/enchants is Rank 3, and can get up to Rank 4. There are 7 proffesion nodes. I've had runs with over 20+ Rank 4s.
It would take you approx. 6 mins per run (maybe even less), it's not hard at all to make 100k+AD/1hr selling Rank 5 enchants (just hope to get Dark/Radiant/Azure enchants, since everything else goes for shit).
(Thanks to FranlkinZero for mentioning it: There is actually +1 node & a chest in a hidden area, that you can briefly spot at 1:31. You might want to look into it, though bear in mind that the node is fairly guarded, while you can loot the chest for free.)



- How to do reruns?
(IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not go to the NPC to finish the quest, or otherwise you will need to find someone to share it with you so you can run it again!)
After finishing your run, just hit ESC, open your menu, and follow the next steps:




ADDITIONAL HINT: The reward for the quest is "Cloak of Lesser Etherealness". It's an infinitely usable item in your inventory that grants you invisibility for a short period of time, and can be used once per hour. I highly suggest that you get the reward the first time doing it (also, it isn't stackable, you can only have 1 of that item), since you can just bypass the fight with the intellect predator.

Sorry for not adding the info. Edited the post. Yeah it is located in Whispering Caverns, & it's the last quest you get there, so you will get it automatically if you advance content-wise, or if you want to go do it early (or have done it already), you can ask someone to share it with you.

Unfortunately not. I had the ingenious idea of stacking the cloaks so i can be a CW Rogue, but if you have one in your inventory and try to loot another one you get an error message telling you that only one piece of unique equipment is allowed in inventory, so meh...

This is cool but it looks like quite a long run, with the "source of the corruption" run (also posted in the forums) you get 3 nodes, closely spaced together, all without mobs interaction. Rank 3-4.

TBH I didn't try it. I checked up the thread, looked up the log on pastebin, and the amount of Rank 2s I saw made me feel like it wasn't really worth it.
But now you saying they are also Rank 3-4 makes me revisit that thought.
What amount & ranks are you getting on average in ~6 mins (the average Illithid Enclave run)?
EDIT:To be noted, the mobs in Illithid really have the tendency to drop Rank 4s, I've had runs where I got more from them, than the nodes.

Also, an off-topic thing: It seems that High Vizier sets are going to be the next best thing starting launch, and they are already rising in prices tremendously. If you can get your hands on those items for cheap, it might multiply your investment 2x, 3x easily.

Source of corruption nodes will be removed on the release though.
