ah damn ... my cleric's aoe can only knock back a few
hi,i'm a CW and I'm farming this map NW-DOYC5GOUR, today I managed to get 1 whole level of EXP only 3 times.
Still I could not understand how the system works to limit the experience of Neverwinter.
Can someone explain if there is a time limit or a limit of daily EXP?
I tried to wait 10-15 minutes, but on 7 attempts, only 3 are unsuccessful.
I had subscribed the map but was not working this way, (reminds me of "accept (again)"), while removing the subscription worked once again but only 1 time....
can't figure this out.
Basically you need to wait +- 2 hours every time you get a full level. I know some people mentioned they were able to get xp every 10 or 20 minutes, but I haven't been able to replicate this. I even tried killing just 10 ogres and leaving - the following lockout was still 2 hours long.
I've found a great map for this, but I need someone with a knockback, since I'm not a high enough level for it yet. On Beholder, send me a message on the forums.
It's by the same author as above, just a more recent one. NW-DSVPBUO95
I'm curious, can a Foundry level be made where a/some mobs spawn, every 30 seconds, until you click a switch or something?
I have made a very simple autoit fight-bot that could simply sit in the zone and kill mobs, wave after wave.
It wouldn't be "power" leveling in terms of how fast it gains xp, but it could be a 24/7 unattended grind bot, carried out in the more private area of a solo Foundry level.
Can this be created in Foundry? Does it already exist? If so where?
It might be possible, but it would take a lot of creativity. The thing is - you can only place a limited amount of monsters in the map yourself and you cannot control the respawn rates. What you can do is use one of the pre-made outdoor maps instead, as those follow the game's standard respawn mechanics. I don't think there's any outdoor map with pits/cliffs however - but I haven't really looked at them closely enough to say that for sure.
Obvious advantage of running a bot in these maps would be that the mobs level with you, unlike the ones in the normal leveling areas.

Does anyone know the delay before you can start getting experience again?
In my testing it has been about 2 hours as others have posted. There could be other factors but I know I can get it to work every 2 hours regardless of what else I do.
yeah that seems about right nice find! Unless you knock all the monsters off the ledge at the same time you can out do the exp cap im pretty sure...
Im currently leveling a rogue, does anyone know of a good method/ or foundry or any thing to level quickly with something other than a CW??
Just get one of your friends help you with killing all mobs for quests, thats it= complete quests in no time! also use quest sharing (remember you can complete one quest only twice now)
Seems like they fixed it I think. My pet recieved like, half a bar from that quest :s
I just did the quest NW-DSVPBUO95 about a n hour ago, and I do it once every couple of hours on my gwf, dc, and cw alts. they can only push so many off, i wind up with about 1/3 of a level, when the wizard gets his higher skills I guess I could get more. it was probably the timing in your case. there's a bit of a trick and a bit of luck too, with the timing of the fall, sometimes I'll get a pink or 2 more it seems. I generally get about 1/3 of a level for the time being. if i pray every couple of hours nayways, it doesn't hurt to grab some extra xp since I park the alts in enclave by the altar so it's a quick run lol.

I put together an non-comprehensive list of Foundry missions and how much XP I got out of them.
Here's my shitty Neverwinter Foundry Logs:
Foundry Quest and XP Listing
I attempted to log in the best time:xp ratios and per level but really lost interest
I was able to complete Protect The Caravan in 15 minutes last night, getting 3-4 bars each run each time. I mean, I lvled 57-60 in about an hour and a half doing this over and over again. There are alternate paths as well in Protect The Caravan.
If you guys want to add to the spreadsheet, let me know and I'll make it editable. Currently, you can only comment.
