Can anyone teach me how to be a good "Slayer" ?

Hi all, Ive just started playing Warhammer recently, and I like the idea of AOEing but I cant seem to survive long enough to complete quests etc while others can, any tips on how to build a Good Slayer is appreciated, thanks again.

P.S. Also helps if you can point me in the right direction for finding items wpns armor etc. sorry for all the ??s still new to the game. Thanks again

Can't give you any advice on how to play as my slayer is only level 4 :P but i can tell you how to improve your overall game play

First off make sure you understand how your skills work, as well it's very important for obvious reasons

Also try asking some high ranked slayers for advice they'll be able to provide you with some good tips and tricks

Another thing for helping is make sure your most used skills are easily pushable while running ect this will make it a lot easier to handle taking people

I know to some people these might seem like stupid tips but you'd be surprised about the amount of people that really just don' think about it.

Was just reading your post again and my advice for AOE is always take mobs atleast 2 levels lower, yes it might seem pointless but after killing them all getting the xp you'll be like ohh this works :P, there is no point in trying to take loads the same level unless you have a healer to back you up

Anyway hope i was able to help in some way, sorry for the blocks of text :P

I have a lv19 slayer but haven't played him for awhile... but he has this skill (mastery), don't remember name, but it heals you when you are furious or enraged (red). This greatly improves PvE survivalibility as you get healed 70 something (furious) or 130 something (enraged) every 4 seconds. I love this skill (in PvE).

Slayers really are useless unless you have 2 pocket healers, in which case they are a ****ing wrecking ball.

White Lion is devastating if played correctly. You need to have style though and some eclectic target choosing if you want to be a whirlwind of destruction feared by all destro.

If u dont have this Healing tactic(1st in the tree) dont let him get angry
I everytime pull 3-4 Mobs and just use CD´s + AE and survive with 20-10%

dude do not listen to them slayers are amazing , I have a lvl 40 very simple I rvr and pvp like a whore so I have.

First off I find for pvp the aoe mastery the best I always in the top 3 for damage. At lower lvl's just run in spam > flurry / wild swing.

don’t be put off cos you die fast at the end of the day you are as only good as the healers that are with you. Some times you will play a game you will not die and triple anyone’s damage due to good healers.

I stack the shit out of str and wounds but again it comes down to are you going to play with premade or just random.

also if you have a healer gimp the way to lvl is: PQ in the 2-3 man PQ zones, and join bg's this way you can keep ur renown to your lvl, and still get gear while waiting for the renown gear to match set lvl. also if ur the aoe spec you can pull 10-15 mobs have a healer with you and you will laugh at the xp rolling in.

i skipped rvr in tier 1-2 and just bought the orange sets from the AH you make so much gold for doing nothing anyways.
