So, I started writing a bot and for the most part it works.
However, SquareEnix was really smart when they designed the game this time around. There is a problem when it comes to the memory reading.
Basically, when you start fishing, the skill window comes up, and you get the gold text at the bottom below the 'lure type' that only changes when a fishing action changes. So I decided, that would be the best way to read the memory of that part, and do something in the script.
Well, I found out that the memory of the chat window and the box will be the same at least once, plus the actual starting point of that chat window changes fairly frequently. (I think it's around once an hour).
Anyone have any idea how I could scan for the correct string in memory, and update the hex in real-time? I think it would be fine normally, but when you do a search for the string: "You feel a nibble." for example, it comes up like 6+ times in CheatEngine. So even if AutoIt can search for it, I can't figure out how i'm going to find out which one is the one I want.
Sometimes it's the first one, sometimes it's the last or second to last.
