I use the bot as a multibox healer. An option for "follow this other player" would be cool
In the days of WoW i built a warlock DoT assit tool, basically it would try to keep DoT's on all enemy players. Didn't look at health or anything for targeting, just if they had a DoT running on them.
Some very very cool automated walking systems are in development right now for this. I'll have more information later but I'm very excited by the initial results.
As for the DoTs... What's wrong with it? The only time it looks at health before casting a DoT is when it sorts the list so that you are casting your spells on the target with the lowest HP first. If he already has that specific dot then it will continue to the second lowest health target, etc, etc.

PP, can this bot also use Morales (instead of just the normal abilities)? If not, perhaps a future addition?

Yeah no dice for me either on the Morale Ability. Not worth me changing around my awesome default UI =P Is it possible that Zeabot could trigger it from a macro perhaps? In due time I am sure it will all pan out, but tbh I'm stoked to see what Pharmer has up his sleeve for a walking system!
More about the pathing system previously mentioned...
First off, I should tell you that this pathing system is dependant on your being grouped in a keep seige, scenario, PQ, or some other group situation. So far I think that the small success hackpack and zeabot have had is largely due to their ease of use and I want to continue that feeling with the pathing system. I thought about the things I hated about other pathing systems and the first thing I though of was user-created waypoints. I absolutely hated running my toon around recording waypoints. I was saving time by using the bot, but I was losing that time by configuring it. That won't be an issue in this software.
So I came up with two main methods of coding this beast. I've been alpha-testing the first one and it worked pretty good. Then today I expanding the testing to different scenarios I hadn't tried and other group aspects of the game - it wasn't handling things properly so some work is needed on this. The second method is going to be harder to script but I'm even more convinced now it will work and look alot better than anything previously used in WAr, or possibly any MMO.

nm... I misunderstood how low health option works. I thought it stayed on the target until it died.

The pathing for me is enought if Zeabot have an auto follow function.
It works really good if you have follow on a group member. But if you are death or get rezzet you must use the follow again.
Mybee you can make a follow target. if this target in the range it will auto follow.
OR you make it over a tell. If you tell the Zeabot over whisper
/playername follow me
than the Zeabot will make a Atuo follow on this Char.
If this working you will have the perfect stick healer.![]()
PP, have you seen this - NerfedButtons - Addons - Curse ?
It's one of the most downloaded addons and Curse and it pretty much does the same thing as Zeabot (for example, it will check your target's range and if your target is w/in range, the first ability will trigger... then it will move on to the next ability... it will also keep re-applying DoTs/HoTs, etc.) except for one thing - you still have to manually press the buttons/hotkeys.
Maybe you could take a look at how it's coded and incorporate some of it on Zeabot?

Anyways, if anyone wants to use the addon, I suggest you download this one aswell: NBSequence Builder - Addons - Curse
Using that you don't need to learn their "syntax", just use the GUI. I learned about this addon yesterday or so and it really makes
playing as a hybrid easier. If I wanted to, I could just smash one button and do quite well.

What I like about Zeabot is it automatically uses the abilities I tell it to use. With NerfedButtons, I still have to manually press my keyboard.
What I like about NerfedButtons is its "intelligence." With Zeabot, as long as I have AP and the ability is not on CD, it will keep using the first ability and then cycle through the rest of the abilities. With NerfedButtons, say my target's HP is less than 5%, it's "smart" enough to let me be able to use my quick casting/big hitting ability... whether it be the first or the last slotted ability.
A combo of both would certainly be awesome! :bowdown:
Hey PP. Your link is posted as Zeabot v0.4b but the Notes in Post 2 are only up to v0.3b. Whats in v0.4b thats different then the last?
