I want to know some of your thoughts on farming and the art of "getting teh epix". I myself am relatively new to Warhammer as I was "addicted" to WoW. And believe me, I farmed the $ht out of that game.

So for my contribution I have found two strategies that have worked great so far for getting "stuff". For both I use my Squig Herder but they can be adapted to other classes.

This first one doesn't involve any hacks or illegal game play. I love a good challenge and taking on an RvR objective solo is a great way to get some "stuff". So what I do is take on the main boss first, send in the tough little normal squig for some tank action. Let the arrows fly. Just before this squig dies use "farty squig" to kill it. Quickly summon your Gas Squig and switch into your Squig Armor. Now you're tanking and your Gas Squig is helping. Make sure you're not too close to the other guards and repeat the above to kill the other guards.

This second one involves my HackPack add-on for Warhammer. Like I said, I love a challenge and now with HackPack the objectives aren't challenging. So.. sally forth to the Keep. Using FlyMode you can hover in safety above the keep lord and his pals. This battle will last around 15 minutes so turn on HackPacks "watcher" feature and keep a look out for other players, you don't want to get caught. Also, it can be tricky keeping the keep lord on you, he some times goes into 'evade' mode and runs back to his spot. As annoying as this can be you need to hunt around for a spot where he won't go back. Try adjusting your height above/beside him. This strategy is also great for rounding up a real crapload of mobs and AoE'ing them.

Kinda hard to find a spot in keeps where the lord doesnt reset all the time. I've been trying.


Oh, and by the way, you want to do that kind of thing, either early in the morning or late in the night. Less players around.

And another thing. Try tactics in a near dead server and then at your regular one. Obvious tips but you never know who they may help...

Yeah.. Lucky me I wasn't paying attention and rolled my toons on an oceanic (aussie?) server. Sucks for actually doing stuff intended by mythic but sometimes it's really, really, dead.

Well I guess I could post my story, which isn't really a good one. I was on my 38 sorc trying to solo some keep lord. It all went until the lord was at about 50% at which point some order fellow ran in and apparently saw my name. Well I left the place asap and went to try it on another keep, there as well at around 50% someone ran in on me. So I decided to try a different map but once again someone ran in on me at around 50% so I decided to try a PQ and while I was killing the last fellow of the PQ I get a whisper for a gm: "this account has been terminated.. yadda yadda". Anyways, lesson is that always keep that watcher on and leave the moment you see someone run in. Other than that it was very easy to solo the keep lords. Anyways, I'm not gonna be flying around anymore ^^.

this thing happened to me to exactly as u say it i was 39 lvl trying to kiill a hero and an order witch hunter came to me and i was talking to a friend of mine in private telling him what happened and i told him shal i talk to him? and the witch hunter answered go ahaed!! after 1 mins i was banned... do u remember his name?? i forgot it :/ in case he is the same guy ^^

Probably hacks. probably the flying hack.

DNL, did you have the people watcher thingy turned on - to tell you if other players were in the vicinity? Sorryyou got banned, that sucks.

Well in the first keep, when I first got spotted, I'm not sure if I had it turned, either way I wasn't paying attention to it. But the moment I spotted the guy I flew away but I guess he must have seen my name and reported me. Then later when I was soloing some PQ a GM probably came to check on me and saw me flying so I got banned.

the watcher doesnt always accurate.
i have 2 accounts so i cheked it alitle bit. sometimes the watcher wont tell you anything though there are some folks around.

i always have mobfinder window opened and clicking refresh button when i do something where i can get cought.
