the ONLY good thing in wow was that you could socialise, even raids came down to socialising, if you got along with every1 you would do great, if not then things always **** up, PVP was always crap in random PUGs way more fun in orgs.

the reason wow will hold so amny people si cuz theyre not adddicted to the game itself but the social enviroment that evolved from it, i hated raiding cuz i didnt get along with a few ppl in the guild (being the main tank and having issue with the main heals big **** over =/) but i rekon that this game is looking way more intruiging =)

thats not true, you can only raid the instance 1 time a week, so the hardcore can raid it as many times as the casual but still not be able to get more gear from it. just depends on drop rates.

The only high-end raid that WAR has is Onyxia-like encounters in the form of Lairs spread out throughout the different pairings. They are lvl 40 hero bosses and I'm sure takes a warband (24 ppl) to take down. Then there's Tier 4 PvP which can be considered the most epic raid battle ever with its Capital City raids and the struggle to take the other's city.

I'm glad WAR got released (to an overall good start) before Blizzard could put out one of their 3 games (Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, Wrath of the Lich King). Hopefully people who were tired of WoW picked up WAR and try it out before WotLK and got hooked =)

Or Blizzard was thinking, that if they wait till WAR has been around for a while to release, people would still give WoTLK a shot atleast, and then might get hooked

I agree with the person saying it's a ripoff. What's up with blizzard suddenly getting Achievements when a competing company has been building a game where Achievements is a huge part of the game. Blizzard just wants more money so they're copy-catting WAR's (lotro and others') idea so that they can say to the custommer "Hey, you think achievements are great? we got them aswell, no reason to quit wow!".
