Why i love Warhammer

4) The Quests (I had one to just talk to a guy and make him happy)

I love it so far. I'm in CE headstart but I'm just messing till I can play with my friends, I really enjoy it though. I accidentally did a public quest and it was sweet. Didn't have to be grouped or anything, it was scripted and went perfect.

Yes I am also in the CE Headstart and I would have to say I also love this game. The way quests are set up are nice and easy. Public Quests are a lot of fun and very easy to just come to the area and get right into it. Only really played a shadow warrior, squig herder, and chaos maurader. But they all seem pretty fun and balanced. But I agree it is a very good game makes me not want to go back to wow for quite a long time for once lol.

I quit wow a couple months ago after that big glider ban. But recently i have had the urges to come back. I really hope Warhammer is a good game, not like aoc that i bought and played for 10 days and got really bored.

Warhammer is very similar to WOW just with updated GFX and few nice touches. TBH i don't think anything can and will beat WOW but this is a damn fine game in it's own right.

WotLK is a total rip off of WAR's achievement system, the artillery / siege weapons, as WAR has been in beta for ~3 Years + 2 before that, I'm very sure someone from WoW got into their beta.

Blizzard's feeling the pressure and really pushing out things to bring people to their game and not WAR.

PVE > PVP transfer
The increase of commercials on TV
A full PVP zone
GREATLY increasing the number of beta codes they're giving out

Achievements were not invented by WAR lol, look at Xbox.

I beta'd WAR a little, its pretty cool, couple gripes though. The graphics are nothing amazing. When people are running off in the distance they look like 8-bit mario running, the system is a cool idea to increase performance, but in practice it just makes the game look weak. The PQ's rock. never tried PvP so can't say much about that. Questing was easy to figure out what to do which was cool. The graphics need to be raised a bit for this to be legitly called a beautiful game.

There is no similarties between wow in war.
TBH you sound like you havent played yet.
So War and WoW don't mix.....
War has a better layout more classes better quest more pvp..
WoW just same steps rince a repeat...

Actually, there are only half the classes you think there are. Every Order class has a Destruction mirror, albeit with a different name and look.

Warhammer really isn't all that different from WoW. It's got some updates, but even the Tome isn't anything different really now that WoW has Achievements.

Warhammer is seriously lacking in end game content too. I have (had, rather) two level 40's and ran out of things to do already. (I'll be waiting 6 months to a year and reactivating my account, hopefully they'll have added lots of content)


I'm not saying "OMG WOW > WAR" - they both have their positive and negative sides - it's just kind of silly to say they're not similar.
