ugg what the point of karma now without being able to turn it into decent gold. they should of added soemthing like this to each craft not nerf it. guess people buying into there gems><

The following Cooking Materials are no longer sold for Karma and are now acquired through drops, gathering nodes, or loot bags: Butter, Chocolate, Vanilla, Chili Peppers, Thyme, Black Peppercorns, Cinnamon, Bay Leaves, Walnuts, and Oranges.

I got like 3-4 gold from doing this, which is really nice. To bad they nerfed it since i have another 30k karma to burn.

at some point i say few months every one of these zones are gonna be empty cause most are 80. just like in warhammer, empty zones. no point in karma. no point in doing these public quests at all. least when we can make a few gold some would live on lol. has anyone figured out any new ways to turn karma into gold?

No not that anyone's aware of. All you can really do is buy greens off karma vendors and try to Mystic Forge them into rares for ectos, but that conversion is pretty horrible and dependent on luck.
