Yes, it does make the waypoint contested. Just check the map often enough and you won't miss it .

Also, keep in mind that you don't have to complete an event to get gold. I did some other event cycles for upper levels and noticed that it would take me only about ONE minute to receive gold for a 7 minute event. Keep that in mind when doing this cycle, and you shouldn't miss too much events.

I think my server is glitched. There is an event that has been the same for over 24 hours because some guy who is supposed to help with it is stuck. So, I think that's why the event isn't showing up.

If you see "Legion and Ebon Vanguard forces are attacking Behemian Grand Kraal" in the orange box (top right) that informs you about events in the area, you won't be able to do the Splintercrest event. That group event seems to bug sometimes. Try staying in the overflow or something.

I think you still have the option to switch servers anytime, for free. And then switch back. But i'm not sure. My server almost always had an overflow for this area, so I would just stay in the overflow servers when the event bugged on my homeworld.

Are all 5 events firing for everyone else?

My server has the 2 Steeleye events and then the one with Tikki or whoever going on his path at Drake Hollow. No event takes place at Splintercrest or Ferrusatos.

There is some never ending event just north of Splintercrest about supporting the two npc's there.

Trying this now, the events don't pop even close to 'chaining', about 5-10 mins in-between each so far

I had a read, its the same post as the OP, but the events don't chain.

I don't even get the South then North @ Span, let alone the Escort/Defend in Ferrusatos Village, or the defense @ Splintercrest.

Right now, roughly every 20-30 mins I'll get one of the span quests.

Did this last time I was on (been ill with glandular fever since)
Worked fine for me, I'd defend the wall and then get it repaired, as soon as one section was repaired I'd start to walk towards the fort. If it was active then I'd fight there, if not I would then go to the southern point by the river instead. And then do a loop. Worked well for me. Went from 34 to 41 in around 4 hours. Also, you get to fight The Shatterer too! Awesome exp and loot

actually the events are perfect + the escort that is higher on the map that gives 3x 3k xp on lvl 44. Too bad after 48 which I did in less than 2 hours 43-48 u start getting less xp.

Don't worry, just try the Sparkfly Fen Events (Sparkfly Fen - Dragon Loot! - Awesome leveling 47-70! 100k+ EXP/HR (Large Picture)) after you feel you're not getting enough XP
