Which bot to use (2015)

Heya folks, i'm mostly trying to decide between basabots or mmoviper right now, bcause rebornbuddy seems a little too hard to setup for me!
I'd like one with minimal set up(ie, waypoints, paths etc already there) that is useable right out of the box!


Would love to get more inputs before I make a decision!

I've been using MMOminion and it has served me well but the customer service is pretty lacking. Even on live chat there's really never anyone there that knows what to do to help you. Using the forums seems pretty effective but still you can easily get ignored. I can vouche that when they do finally get to you, they help you get going and then some. It just takes forever so you're better off just reading and doing some trial and error till you get it going.


It's not a bot like Viper or Reborn buddy that you can just download some simple things and get going with the push of a button, there's a lot of setup and a pretty high learning curve if you're not too computer literate like most of the people who handle these bots seem to be. But if you can hack reading some guides and understand the general idea of how certain things work %s and >, < things like that, you should be fine.

Basically if you're good at reading (lots of guides for things) and want a bot with a A LOT of potential MMOminion is the way to go. I can tell when they upgrade the bot to questing 2.0 that there's really going to be no other bot out there that can do what they do. But the bot is most certainly not "noob friendly".

Viper does quit a bit, fishing, hunting, patroling, fate botting, and now the new MGP games like chocobo racing, etc. If you are looting for harvesting setups, there are full patrols for pretty much any zone fully automated. People are making a mill gill every few days, via harvesting with pretty much no effort just time on the bot.

I would use Rebornbuddy, I've used it before and it has helped me quite a bit to do different types of things! You can try it for 3 days for only 1 euro, which is not a lot at all. There is also a "noobie tutorial" (which I still follow sometime) to explain what Rebornbuddy can do and how to properly set it up (real easy). Functionality is still a bit lackluster, but the bot is growing really fast with new features since the developers are very dedicated in getting it up and running. Is quite similar to other Buddybots and people do contribute by sharing their own plugins to increase the bot's functionality!

If you want a Teleport Hack/Fly Hack and Gathering Bot then Kefka Bot is good. No monthly payments, one time fee of $15 USD. Comes with Gathering Paths or you can create your own.

depends on what you want. Kefka is great for teleporting around for a 1 time fee. When an update is needed just post a message on the board and it's updated. I've used viper to bot mine/bot/farming mobs and it works wonderful as well.

Is Rebornbuddy worth using, the short answer is no!

As of July 25 2015 the bot does not support Direct-X 11 and has no
support for flying. We are now about a month after the release
of Heavensward and major items are missing from this bot.

The bot is horribly busted the customer service from Bossland GmbH
is pretty much non-existent. (Bossland GmbH is the company that makes this bot)

Basically there is only one developer who works on this
bot who goes by the name of mastahg

Basically most of the functions for this so called "bot"
are not built in and you have to use plugins to get key
features to work with the bot. Most of those functions
are community developed and support is extremely lacking
on any of those plugins.

At any time the developer can decide to stop supporting
this plugin and you will lose a key function of that bot which
you need.

Oh also you will get no support for any 3rd party plugin
which you use by Bossland GmbH they refuse to give
any kind of help what so ever for it and will tell you to contact
the author. This is their way of getting around having to
put the function in their bot and actually support it.

Support for the bot is absolutely horrible and a lot of the
people on their forms are just a bunch of elitist a-holes
good luck on getting support from there.

Keep far far away from this bot it is NOT worth it!
