New EVE

Hello guys, I decided to get into EVE with the hopes that I could earn around the 30$/month mark. I'm playing on tranquility and just started off a few days ago on a 30 day trial. I was wondering if any-one wanted to group up and mine with me or if any-one has information that I could use to reach my goal that would be much appreciated.

hey deadly - i am playing since Jan 2006 and what i can tell you is this.

1) It will be very hard making that plex with mining alone
2) Get your fighting skills up (takes around 3-6 months)
3) Go fly missions for pirate faction in regions such as Curse or Fountain - the NET yield there is much much higher.
4) If all above is too dangerous - fly L3/L4 missions in Empire and buy faction gear for LP Points

From looking at new characters I'd say you wont be able to make it in the beginning but rather later on when your skills are more refined. You have to invest into the game in order to get something out of it.
