Also curious as I'm just getting into the game, as far as paid bots, tinyminer seems to be popular from what little I've researched, but would be nice to get some more input from others.

I'm using StealthBot for a few days now and it awesome! Not as stupid as those pixel scanner "bots". This is a real bot.

You want a bot that runs courier mission? Picks up cargo from Station A and drops it off at Station B? How about one that manages your planets so you don't have to? Or one that will go around looking/salvaging wrecks and cans? What about one that mines ore? You want it highly undetectable and super easy to set up (provided you actually look at the help section)? Easy to control and can work with up to 10 clients at once? How about it actually look for ice anomiles now that ice belts are longer found? How about a bot with many more features than what I've listed?

a note about bots in eve: when ccp brings down the banhammer they tend to do so hard, all of your accounts - even the ones you didn't bot, can end up banned.. including future accounts you try to make until you can convince a GM you'll be good.

I have developed a Bot that contains a Mining Mode (only Asteroids so far).
As of now, the Bot is free to use.

best bot hands down is from Macro Laboratory: EVE Online Mining, Hunt, PI and Trade Bot . i have been using this since 2010 for mining mission running and hasnt let me down once
