Question: If i run EVE through a virtual pc along with my bot will it be detected?

The question goes like this:

if i create a virtual pc, install windows, eve online and use a bot with it, am i gonna be detected by the eve security and banned?

or is there any other method much better than this?

Also, i`m using a G15 keyboard, anyone knows some macro's for mining?

There is no working bot atm, 'cause of new security stuff on EVE servers. But there soon wil be.

I used RoidRipper 'cause it's free. It did the job. There are few others but I didn't use them so can't tell you if they are better or not.

If you want a high quality bot you could get one of the bots that uses innerspace, but RoidRipper had been good choice up until the recent banwave. I don't know when or if the security will get better, but it's not good now. As far as the VM, it should be fine. Try using 'Tiny7' or 'TinyXP'. If you run Windows 7, you should get Tiny7 and if you have 64 bit, be sure to create it as a 64 bit operating system. This is what most of the autohotkey bots will do since they need control over the mouse and keyboard.

You would probably want to use it in a VM, then. I know that stealthbot uses innerspace and that a few others I forget the name of do too. If you aren't already going there regularly, you should check out PublicDemands's forum. It's a lot more focused on EVE than MMOwned, and as a result, the information available there is more comprehensive.
