This is probably the most useful Mod you will find for Diablo 2. It allows you to basically increase all of your needed functions. (IAS / FCR / etc.) Those of you that have cheated in D2 or would like to, I advise you to use this. You can edit the source to increase the rates for every thing, but this is the default settings for it.

What does it do?
This changes the BASE cast/fhr/ias/kick/fbr breakpoints.
Regular breakpoints will STILL take effect after this edit,
However they will increase from the NEW BASE frames that
have been set.
How does it work?
Apparently all of the character "breakpoints" are stored on
the client. So, much like nightlight, farcast, gmod, etc.
this takes advantage of battle.net's flaw and exploits it
in arguably the best way possible. This modification is
100% compatible with nightlight, and is used in the same
form, no annoying/risky .exe or .dll files involved.
How do i use it?
Simply place Animdata.d2 into the Data/Global directory
of an existing mod such as Nightlight by TfW and QQ-Pat.
If you DO NOT use a data folder mod currently, create a
folder named data inside your Diablo II Folder(usually
C:Program FilesDiablo II) and create a folder named
Global inside of the data folder, then place AnimData.d2
into the global folder. Once that is complete go to your
Diablo II shortcut on your desktop or wherever it may be,
Yes, you need a shortcut, and right click it then select
Properties. Locate the "Target:" box and go to the very
end of it. AFTER THE QUOTES type ONE space then add
-direct -txt and press apply. Open up D2 with that shortcut
and it is installed and ready to go.
Is this detectable?
As far as im aware of no. It is the same concept as nightlight,
Farcast, and GMOD(all created by TfW and QQ-Pat <3) and is based
on client-side edits.
**HOWEVER, as with any hack/modification:
YOU ASSUME ALL RISK OF USING THIS ON BATTLE.NET, I WILL NOT TAKE
RESPONSIBILITY IF BATTLE.NET DECIDES TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS**
Can i edit the frames myself as i see fit?
Yes, i encourage you to alter this to fit your needs, i have not
had enough time to properly work with the Increased Attack Speed
frames, and this would help production greatly.
To edit this, you need a program called ANIM_D2_Edit, which can be
found at the phrozen keep(d2mods.com) and D2excel, which can also
Be found there, or in the D2 Modding Package located on Edge of Nowhere.
use animdata edit to extract a animdata.txt from animdata.d2, open that
txt in an excel program and edit. I have included a complete list of
what file names go to what features(Char Frames List.txt) in this package.
Locate what you want to change on the list, then search for it in animdata.txt
the column you want to edit is the one directly next to the name(FramesPerDirecton).
Be very careful when playing with these numbers, as going too low with cast/ias
can cause many glitches to your char, test all changes thoroughly before usage.
**also note, edit ONLY THIS COLUMN. any other changes can cause unexpected errors**
This is an edited animdata file you may need.
Enjoy!
