Remove fishing boat fps lag (help needed)

So apperantly, there's a way to fix the fishing boat lag by modifying the game pak file. This was posted by a person on reddit that just released a method of fixing the FOV to 90 by editing a cfg file. However he said that Trion is banning for other things he has made (such as the fishing boat fps lag fix).
He dropped some hints on how to do it yourself, but i'm at a loss.

This is not an exploit, but i'm not sure where else to post it.

It's about modifying the client physics range. Trion can not fix it and XL doesn't care about, since it's been there forever. Now I don't care either because modifying game_pak is bannable.

I was hoping anyone has any knowledge about this, as this would help out a lot of people, even if it is bannable.

I don't think hackshield actually checks/bans for it, considering the other AA addon that removes the house placement thing, adds the camera zoom as well as the fov fix etc modifies the game_pak data as well, and that still works.

It's more of a "if we find out you're using it, you're gone" thing.

I wonder why is the fishing fps mod fix detected then...

I also wonder why he doesn´t release it for the public, maybe someone else can make it work on the actual version. There is no harm to release this kind of stuff, if he is scared just mail it to someone who is willing to share with vpn/etc. Maybe hes BSing...

Yea well that AA Addon also DC you right after loggin in unless you remove the AH mod, at which point your game will dc you every 30-60 minutes for whatever reason until you reinstall. The default.bat does not fix it, you either have to make a copy of those files patched before patching them and copy them back after or reinstall.
