Can I just say, that the market value of something that's unattached to an account has zero bearing on it's value once it has been used...
That's like saying that putting an amp and some 15" speakers in your vehicle is going to improve the resale value, because the speakers and amp cost $800.
You lose most of the value of the item once you've merged it into your account.
Sure, it adds potential buyers into the mix, and gets you interest, but it doesn't carry the same market value as an unused TCG card, due to limited resale ability.
