I just got hit with bans. Three accounts that I previously used rift on that I haven't played on for at least a month all simultaneously received bans (notified via email). The rift client no longer connects and reports only an error code, and the rift website is non-responsive. This leads me to believe that the entire platform was detected and/or brought down. Awaiting information from any of the staff that I have access to.

It wont be coming back. I know one of the devs pretty well and he said they got hit with a lawsuit a while back and kept it under wraps so they could milk sub money before it went down. That's what the whole sale was for.
