    General Question - Selfdestruct PDF

    Heyho!

I know, you can script into PDFs. The question is, is it possible to code a selfdrestuct PDF in this way, that it can be opened without problems until a specific date. After that date it will rewrite its content into lines of yyyyyy on closing, making it totally corrupt, without chance to retrieve it? Can this script also modifie other specific files in this directory?

Background is, in our company we got important data from a former employer on a usb stick, together with a PDF on how to use this data in the specific software. Now after he left, both files are corrupt and cant be read. (endless lines of yyyyy) My workmate can't remember, if there was a prompt (for the script) when opening the PDF.

Is it possible? What do you think?
