Hi,
as some of you may know, I'm using Python as a main language, and porting many things useful to botttng into this language, everything is open-source and free to use by anyone who want to make things using python.
I've open-sourced some tools:
- pymem (Memory read, write, asm injection...)
- pyfasm (A wrapper around FASM)
- pystormlib (A wrapper around StormLib) for MPQ files
I recently got interested by recastnavigation and would like to use it within python.
As it is a lot of work and I have to assume that this is very new to me, I would like to know if someone would be interested into sharing some knowledge around this project and helps making a wrapper for python so anyone can use it within a python environment.
The wrapper itself could be a simple dll wrapping the recast and detour stuff's, and I think it should be enough to then wrap it into a python library.
Of course there are other solutions, like using SWIG or Boost/Python, but this is more work.
So here is the call, if you have some knowledge and already successfully used recast + detour in some of you projects, it may be an opportunity for you to share some knowledge to someone who want to learn more about it.
I've learned so much using this forum, I always tried to give it back using open-source projects, but now came the time when I have to admit that this is too much work for me alone, I have time, but I need someone who will guide me and help through the process of making this project a success.
Thank you
