[VB.Net] Best way to control WindowsForm (Memory editing?Dll injection? other?)

Hi everybody,

I'm used to use VB.net and I would ask you what is the best way to control a compiled WindowsForm exe file.

I think it should be quite similar to games launchers, that's why I would get your advice about the best way doing this job.

I would like to be able to do it even if the window is hidden (so I can't use pixels or other screen exploit like this).

I'm not asking for a straight forward solution but mostly for books names or interesting articles on the subject that is the most accurate/efficient for you
