    Looking for a good C book

    Hey guys. I was looking to expand my programming knowledge past Lua and baby bits of SQL / HTML and i thought C might be a good place to start.

    Basically im looking for some kind of book to help me learn. I don't really like E-books so one i could go out and actually buy is preferred.

    Thanks =]

    C# sucks, and the book "C how to program" by P.J. DEITEL and H.M. DEITEL is quite good. I own it and I've read it. It got good examples and explain everything carefully. A book for a beginner programmer.

    C is in my opinion the best way yet the hardest to start learning. It is a language that requires more of you but you'll also learn a lot more. The book will also introduce you to allegro lib (for gaming dev) and C++, OOP and such nice things (in the end tho).

    One of the best programming books I've read.
