    [PHP/Request][Paying $] (Arcemu) Account Updating

    What I Will need:
    1. An account update page that will allow you to enter your username and password and then update your account to another level in the logon DB.

    2. Only allowing accounts entering into the DB via Email Confirmation.

    3. Password Changing site.

    For #1. I have included a small code of PHP that might help you:
    Code:
    $result = $realm_db->query("SELECT `user`, `pass` FROM `login` WHERE user='".$username."' AND pass='".$password."'");
    if(mysql_num_rows($result)) {
        $realm_db->query("UPDATE `accounts` SET `gm`='q, o' WHERE `login`=$username;");
    }
    If you can, I might want this page to be secure so the average joe cant just type in a URL and get to this page. This page has to be payed for via paypal. (the buyers, not you lol)
    MSN: [email protected]
    Email: [email protected]
    I am offering the first $25 to whoever can create a php site this way.

    Theme it WoW style with some GM Island background. I run a GM Server.

    Title it: GM-WoW Account Upgrade
    for all of them..

    Thanks!
    Reply if you have any questions.

    P.S. For the DB connection. Just set it to
    host: 127.0.0.1
    user: root
    pass: ascent
    I will update that php. I only know basic PHP :P.

    If you want, You can also get a donor level on my server which includes npc spawn, player kicking, gobject spawn and much more!

    Yeah, I can. But will I do this for 25$? No way. People undervalue the programming jobs, might be a bit offtopic, but FYI: A company that buys a quite advanced website will have to pay $1000-3000$+.

    I may be speaking against myself right now, but I am actually thinking of including such EMU features in the CMS I am programming. We'll see ;], don't wait for it tho.

    I'll see what I can do. I need way more information, add my MSN:
    [email protected]

    Please also check if the passwords are encrypted in some way(s).

    I'll be online in like 15hours I'd guess. And no, this isn't a 2000$ job

    The point Danne was trying to make is that people undervalue programming. Stuff like this, depending on the project and requirements, can take several hours. Considering you can easily make $28/hour for programming jobs, most freelance projects are waaaay undervaluing the work.
    The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.
