    C and Cocoa questions

After deciding that i wish to program an app for the ipod touch, and some research, i have ran across a new(to me atleast) language. Cocoa is supposed to be close to C, correct me if im wrong.

The only language that i kinda know is html, and that isn't even technacaly a language.

From some of you with experiance with C and C++, i would like to know if it would be possible to comvert a C++ program into a C-like program(cocoa).

btw, the app im planning on making a 3d model viewer for the ipod touch (at loss of some features most likely) and i will of course give the original devs credit, and will not charge for it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Cocoa is an interface application framework much like Windows Forms is for Windows.

Also, iPhone apps can be written in Java as well. The language you are referring to I think is Objective C.

Unfortunately for you, Objective C has a very distinct syntax in comparison with C/C++, so "converting" an application will be hard.

    Best of luck though.
