[C++] A Qt GUI using win API functions?

    Hello guys
I'm trying to put myself in memory editing (yeah, seems like a long road). I wrote a basic memory reading class using Win32 API, and want to add a GUI to use it, however I don't like Win API way to do that. Is that a bad idea to mix Qt and the Win API or is it OK? The code seems to work, but it sounds strange to me to mix these. Don't know why.
    Thanks ;p

Why does it sound strange to mix them? QT is platform-independent libraries, your tool is platform-dependent, hence its fine to mix in a platform-dependent library. I'm really not seeing the problem here. You're never going to "port" this to another OS because that would mean a rewrite from scratch anyway, so its not really a "port" even in the event it does happen.

Tldr version: Its fine, do it.

Okay, thank you. Really don't know why i found this strange, I just always have the feeling like I'm doing something wrong, however the program works. Basic, probably the ugliest code ever, but it works. I'll try to improve it when I get back.
    Thanks again.
