You can also use a differant Media base such as realplayer or Divx. If you are a little bit experience with MVB you shouldnt have a problem doing this, I used Windows media players as most people have it already installed on there OS. Personaly i would use Realplayer.

The fact that you're using the WMP ActiveX control (or COM) means that the user MUST have WMP installed. I'd say good job, but there's hundreds of tutorials like this, and all of them suffer the same drawback.
