[Help] updating a site

Hey, i'm a total noob with VB but i've made a calculator once ;P

what i was wondering about is how i can make a program that goes to a site, presses an option in a poll and then press the button to send it. and then updates the site and waits 5+ seconds and then do it all over again.

could any1 help me with this? xD would be awsome!

Although this might be a very unprofessional solution, you could do it via pixel-reading (or if it's always at the same spot not even needed) and do some mouse events. (Move the mouse to the desired location, click, move to next location, and so on..)

pinvoke.net: mouse_event (user32)
pinvoke.net: SetCursorPos (user32)
pinvoke.net: SendMessage (user32)

for the 'update' thing, you might just open the site in your application with

VB Helper: HowTo: Navigate the WebBrowser control in VB .NET

and control it this way, or just move the mouse to the refresh button / what ever.

its a perfect idea you can make one with its own browser window and have it work in the background doing it over and over.

Well, if you havent already, toss a webbrowser in your form than double click an empty spot
in the form_load event type this:

webbrowser1.navigate("http://yousite.com")

Then when your program opens it will go to your site
