How to compile Ascent - VS 2005




What do you need?

Microsoft Visual C++ 2003 / 2005
A SVN client (Tortoise recommended) - google it
Ok now do this:
Install Tortoise
Download the source from svn://emupedia.com/svn/ascent
Open AscentVC80 in VS 2005
Follow the pictures








Be sure you dont get any errors
Now the core is compiled and you can find it in your \ascent\bin\release\ directory
Ok you have compiled your core succesfully.

Now you need to compile scripts too.

Do this:
Open \ascent\src\scripts\ folder
Open scripts2005 in VS 2005
Compile the scripts (compile them the same way as the core);
