i use notepad for all of my needs.

sometimes when u open a php script and its all jumbled weird, just copy and paste into a pastebin, then copy back onto notepad and wala

notepad++ will take care of that for you, usually it's an encoding issue for the actual file.

I'm sorry but dreamweaver blows, I would never hire anyone for a job if they used dreamweaver.
