Why PM about the solution to individual people instead of just posting it? I keep seeing you say to make sure the system time is correct, and that the problem is solved. My system time is set to automatic and is correct, but this issue happens anyway (seemingly in the evenings).

Because the solution has long been there and many are too lazy to look at the topic from the very beginning. Because many do not read very carefully, and then come to the forum and ask for help that already exists. And then they come and say, oh, sorry, I'm a noob and was not attentive

That still makes no sense, I have looked for a solution and all that I can find is you telling people to set their time accurately (mine is) and someone else saying that you need to make an exception for Thud in your antivirus (I have), neither of which solves the problem for me.

You should post your solution instead of PMing it so that people can try it, them reading the solution on a post as opposed to reading it in a PM shouldn't make a difference other than having you PM them first, that is what I am not understanding here.

Try as I told, launch THUD directly from its .exe as admin, it fixed for me. For some reason launching through the shortcut was giving timezone error after a few minutes.

I am getting a "Unable to retrieve latest version info for TurboHud. Check your timezone!" error message still, currently using TurboHUD 20.12.9.0 (v9.2) STABLE for Diablo III 2.6.10.71814 (64 bit).

Well I'm having this error again, so my solution wasn't really a fix. THUD is whitelisted in AV and Firewall so I have no clue what's going on. I used THUD for years without issues, but the updates of this season reperatedly started to disable THUD with this timezone error, even if it's set correctly and synced in the Windows time adjust.

    1. Remove TH from your desktop
    2. In Windows services - select Windows time - start automatically
    3. Change the time sync server to timeanddate.com
    4. Disable daylight saving time
    5. Disable unnecessary programs from startup
    6. Restart PC
    7. Start Hud

    Best Regards

    Hi guys,
Greetings! I am a new guy here trying to find out why I am getting this Timezone error.
Did the recommended changes and still no luck.

Here is what I have tried:

    1. Remove TH from your desktop
    2. In Windows services - select Windows time - start automatically
    3. Change the time sync server to timeanddate.com
    4. Disable daylight saving time
    5. Disable unnecessary programs from startup
    6. Restart PC
    7. Start Hud

I have also set my Norton Security to whitelist the THUD.

    Thanks for any input

PS: I just found that the windows is not able to sync with the timeandate.com. Could it be the reason?

Problem solved. It turned out it was Norton Security blocking it. Thanks!

[QUOTE=QianLei;4270757]Thank you for your patient answer, I seem to know the problem----
I live in China, so when I open TurboHUD, I cannot retrieve the latest version (due to the national firewall).
I tried a VPN proxy (v2rayn), and TurboHUD prompted me to turn off the proxy.

So this seems to be an endless loop.
It's like Neo entered the subway station in Matrix II. Trying to fly around, there is direction, but to no avail.

---Of course, I still hope you can tell me other ways, I will be very grateful

    你好。请问你这问题解决了吗?
    我是刚开始能玩个1,2把,然后提示这问题,第二天就彻底不 能玩了。。。

Today morning I got this error. TurboHUD 20.12.16.0 (v9.2), Win7x64.

    What I have tried:
    0) Turning OFF antivirus + firewall
    +
    1) All from post #40 (from 1 to 7 + run hud as administrator)
    2) All from post #40 but timeserver time.windows.com (because timeanddate.com didn't work properly for me)
    3) All from post #40 but fresh downloaded HUD + another folder for it
    4) All from post #40 but changing timezone to +/- 0.

    Nothing helped me

My guess is that the server that KJ maintains to monitor and send out the current version has been shut down for some reason. All we can do is wait for him to restart it. This is NOT a problem on all of our computers, it's on the SERVER side.

I'm hopeful that someone that has a much closer relationship with KJ has notified him of this issue.
