How do I disable the widget that appears in the top-center of the screen?

Please see screenshot. I want to disable both of the items pointed to by the arrows. What are their names?

edit config\ui_default\ui_default_main.xml

and disable the following plugin
DamageBonusPlugin.cs

Thank you. Is there a better way to disable the portraits than to modify the ui_default_main.xml file? The file says not to modify it. I was wondering if there was a way to enable/disable that in a file that should be modified, like PluginEnablerOrDisabler.
