How to remove Buff icons above skill bar?

Hi how would I go about disabling the custom buff icons that overwrite the default icons above the skill bar?

For example the cheat death, chantodo/archon stacks. As nice as it is to have the numeric countdown I'd like to revert all of these icons to default.

I've got this in my PluginEnabler which I thought would disable everything except the plugins specified:

            Hud.TogglePlugin<StandardMonsterPlugin>(true);
            Hud.TogglePlugin<PlayerBottomBuffListPlugin>(false);

Is it possible to use toggleplugin for this? I guessed it might be PlayerBottomBuffListPlugin, not sure if I'm doing it wrong but I still get the custom icons and timers/cooldowns.

Edit: Figured out I could do it by editing ui_default_buffs.xml but wondering if there is a way to do it via PluginEnabler?
