I got this error:2019.09.01 18:42:22.996 19.8.29.1 suspicious plugins behavior in plugin file: 'D:\Games\ess64\Plugins\Zy\ZyHelperBetaAdapter.cs': possibly trying to use network connections
This plugin can no longer be used due to restrictions added in the latest versions of the TH with the purpose of improving user safety and avoiding automatic actions.
I get it. Tnx.
Yeah, it closed very big hole that was the easiest and most efficient way to make plugins communicate with other processes using custom code on both sides.
But AFAIK AHK like communication is still viable (and used) and can not be blocked because the sole idea of THUD is to write information on screen to make playing easier or more efficient.
Tough lately I have use more and more of voice to make my game play more efficient and focused using Hud.Sound.Speak.
Definitely not!
Then it would be just you doing the programming.
Only thing that keeps me playing is the ability to make my own plugins or use somebody's else if its good for me and make my game play more efficient or I can copy interesting ideas.
But the problem remains that there is this loophole that (reading pixels from THUS overlay window) makes it
- too easy to do and
- hard to prevent
without compromising the whole idea of THUD plugins.
I don't want to share my code for that but there are others that don't want to respect "THUD philosophy" of cheating.
I suppose that the limit that should not be crossed is that a program plays for you: It is the player who must move, use the skills, and make the decisions.
Diablo 3 it's badly done because because you play too "blindly". We have a "Meta" that consists of gathering monsters in a pixel and they have not bothered to highlight the elites or the monk's sanctuary. It should also provide data for decision making, for example the cooldown of skills, the status of the ring of the elements for other players of the game, the experience that the monsters you have around you give,
where can a Pylon exist. Turbohud makes up for those and other Diablo shortcomings and makes it much more entertaining, and .. Blizzard is aware of it
I'm with whoever said that: "-I'm playing THUD, using D3!".
"When you reach the top, get ready to drop!"
