Turbohud.exe shows as XML configuration file

Hello
I'm totally new at this so please be patient with me
I just downloaded the latest 18.9.23.0 file and as instructed, unzipped it into a totally new folder
Ran Diablo as 64bit, went to the video options and configured to windowed as well
Restarted Diablo (just in case) and opened the turbohud folder
When I click on the Turbohud.exe file, a window pops open asking me what program I want to open it with
I read the stickies on this forum and did everything as told
Dirext X 11, SP pack, platform updates, running as admin.....
I just don't know what else to do to get turbohud running
Some help please???

You are running the TurboHud.exe correct? I know most people never figure out how to turn on the "show extensions" option and are always clicking the wrong file, I know cuz my uncle is one of them.
Its the exact same as any other file, at least for me it was, I unzipped the file, and while your game is running, not the launcher, ran the file and after about 15 seconds it shows up in game, i don't remember doing any extremely long rituals to get it to run.
Now TurboMGR.exe is different, you need to edit the config.xml file in order for it to run, change the 0 to a 1 and then as long as turbohud is running, turbomgr will run, but THud has to be running though.

Yeah I finally figured out that I was actually trying to execute the wrong file!
Feel like such an idiot! I got too confused over the fact that there were 2 files named Turbohud
And like the classic fool, fretted around with the one ending with .exe instead of looking at the file extension!
