Have you all plugin devs switched to VS2019?

I have been out of the loop for a while.
Just downloaded latest THUD release and tried to open it with my old __v7.sln and __v7.csproj files as always.
The project would not open: Project file is incomplete. Expected imports are missing.
It seems that some .NET updates I have had recently are not compatible with Visual Studio 2017 :-(

Does anybody have a solution how to fix this or do I have to really use VS2019 from now on? VS2019 opens it A-OK.

Maybe somebody can share their working solution or point to me where it can be found.
