I AM JUST CONVEYING MY OPINION WITH THIS REPLY.

I remember reading some debate/discussion where several people (one of them being KJ) were going back and forth about that exact issue.

From what I understood about that whole thing was, if KJ does not want to allow anyone but themselves to update THUD, that's fine, but that does not allow or give KJ the right to tell people to hold on and wait until he or she has been finished.

In other words you can't not allow help, then hide behind the I have a life statements. That is complete nonsense. The fact is that KJ has the OPTION to have plenty of help, but chooses not to use it (Which is again up to him/her), however, in my book, you guys cannot seriously tell people to be patient. If KJ wants to play hero, let em', that's up to him/her, but you cannot then complain about people saying to hurry up and I do not believe in anyone defending someone who chooses to do that either.

The way I look at it is this:
THUD could have been done by now if KJ would allow others to help, but since he or she doesn't, then they need to take the complaints and no one is allowed/has any business saying anything back to anyone about those complaints.


Again that is my opinion and I stand by it.

Just my opinion, which I know is absolutely worthless to everyone here.

Jon (who has done a great job), really should hand off this project to someone else. To me it's been painfully obvious he hasn't enjoyed doing it for a quite a long time.

I'm not going to openly speculate why he continues to do it even though I don't think he enjoys it, though I have personal theories.

Where is the problem? It's his "baby" and his decission to work alone on it. I mean yeah d3 suxx without thud,but if he want to work alone on this just accept it and be happy if the new version is ready.

And that is no ones fault but KJ. At this point in time, there is absolutely no reason for this to be a solo project anymore. KJ just doesn't want to give it up the power and feeling he gets from making people wait.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize and see that this is about KJ's ego and not about supplying a community with a decent program.

I can honestly only assume that you are a troll that made a fresh account just to try baiting in this thread.

There is no schedule, KJ will update the "TurboHUD Releases" section with the new link when he is finished working on it. Just need to check every now and then =)
