I don't understan what measure you are talking about.
I am very busy fixing HUD because this patch messed up everything and it is still not stable yet. Every patch fixes some stuff and break some stuff.
Only yesterday - which was a Sunday!! - I had to create 8 releases...

The current situation is that China can not verify the server and use HUD. There may be two reasons:
1. The validated version of the URL should be blocked by the Chinese firewall.
2. You changed the validated version of the URL, the changed URL is just blocked by the Chinese firewall, because the previous version can be used normally, but now this version can not be used.
But I don't think that's the second reason, so can KJ change a validated version of the URL? Let Chinese players can use it normally.

what the fuck are you talking about? banning servers? HUD starts fine with every language on my machine. I can show you screenshots.

You get "Unable to retrieve the latest version of HUD" if it does not have access to the URLs where I announce the version numbers.

Before 1.17.2, everything is fine.
And when I got 1.17.2, language_selected with zhCN occured to "Unable to retrieve the latest version of HUD".
At first I thought it was network error. But when I tried enUS, it didn't happend and HUD started to work.

And I found not only me suffering this. That's when I start to think someone prevent Chinese users from HUD. And as I got the HUD.zip from your zippyshare, I think you did it.

Then in 1.20.8, only using VPN can prevent "Unable to retrieve".
And I just tested, 1.17.2 version with zhCN worked fine with VPN, too.

So the problem is the access to the URL, it can't be reached in China.
Therefore, only three problems now:
1. Is there different URL accessed by different language selected?
2. Could someone stop us from reaching the URL from China, even we use the original version THUD?
3. Did the URL server change today or yesterday? Because before these day it's okay.

Sorry again for my previous words, if those make you annoyed.
