I heard some rumors regarding people are selling customized versions of HUD for money in China forums.
This is unacceptable! Does have anybody any information regarding the situation there?
I need only facts, no rumors.

Only one I can think of with appropriate insight is SeaDragon, he's a Chinese citizen from the mainland, and well-known plugins author who contributed for the community here several times.

Just a joke about two post in a row with monkey profile pictures.

To get back on topic:
It might be hard to make a Chinese kanger stop making money over your work, even with an "I do it for free, if you modify it and distribute it for Chinese users you must do it for free too" licence but :
- He (they) can stop doing it if they have enough respect for you and your work.
- If there are Chinese specificities that out-of-the-box TurboHUD can't provide, you can work with Chinese users to add them.
- Another solution is having Chinese users of TurboHUD informing other Chinese users about the original & free TurboHUD on Chinese gaming forums, maybe you can add a message to that purpose in Chinese under the one we have on loading screen.
like "TurboHUD is free and always will be, if you see someone selling it, you should inform other users..."

HUD's loading screen states if they download it from anywhere else than ownedcore then they are idiot.

Just my two cents but internet in china is very altered, maybe if they search for TurboHUD they only can find Chinese websites?
