so this was basically an anti enigma patch?
Edit: Thanks KJ and Enigma for making the game that much more fun in the last couple of years!

Is there a possible way to read data by sniffing packets?
Completely out of memory

Which encryption they use to ?

If Enigma works and can read the memory of the game, why doesn't th?, is just a question without evil, is there any plan to implement the advances of Enigma in TH?

Enigma is just map data, Thud reads alot more, like player data which they made hard to access.

It's just a game of cat and mice when it comes to cheating/anticheating. The question is if KJ or Enigma are willing to play the game

Honestly blizzard really had to make these changes before D4 botting is a bigger problem then THUD was, we all know its no different then the 10 trillion 3rd party addons WoW uses.
These changes lead me to believe they are leaning more towards a D3 xpac then D4 why would these memory changes be needed for a game they are planning to making content for?

Well, Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 are using pretty much same engine, so I doubt (But hey, it's Blizzard, so why not XD?) that D4 will be based on Havok's. It's a 10+ year old engine.
My guess is they are just preparing for a new Diablo 3 expansion. Diablo 4 is not going to arrive any soon.
About "3rd party", look. WoW's LUA scripts are how THud could work if they had that implemented in Diablo 3.
I wouldn't call THud 3rd party software (however stupid that sounds, becaue it actually is lol), while Bots actually are. You can't make a WoW bot with a simple LUA script.
Scripting != Coding.

Pointers can't really be encrypted. They are sometimes at random addresses every time you launch the game, but they will be always based on the game's base address.
You have to pointer scan probably. Just a wild guess. I've no idea what you're doing.

I for one am grateful for all the hard work KJ puts into TurboHud. With or without it coming back I have enjoyed the time I have spent playing this game with such a wonderful tool. I really hope you can figure this out KJ, but if not then life goes on. Thank you for all that you do.

Hello KJ,
First thank you for bringing us a great tool that made my Diablo life much easier.
I paused Diablo for a while after reaching guardian in S12, and came back to discover the mess Blizzard did with the game. Instead of increasing the game quality they just ruined the game. I was really sad to see that THud would not work anymore. Then I read some comment by KJ indicating that the user info data was not available anymore, or maybe in such a mangled way that it was not usable. This is indeed a big part of TH that goes away, but maybe, if KJ still has enough motivation, the rest of TH could be workable until the missing parts are solved.
I was thinking of inventory and object management. KJ do you believe that it would be possible to bring that back ? I was specifically thinking of the Ancient/Primal overlays, the Gem level and the augment level, and object name display while not identified.
This may be seen by many as a very small portion of what TH used to provide, but it would be a nice restart.
Anyway I'll respect any choice you make on that matter.
Cheers

It's totally available and usable, it's just that they (KJ and Enigma) had the offsets hardcoded, manually updating them every game patch. Now they need to implement a pointer scanner which is a huge pain in the ass without a proper debug to start with. As I've mentioned before, pointers can't really be "encrypted". With that done it's just a matter of hours to make Enigma's MH or THud autoupdate after every game patch.
