Is there a way to get the squirt icon in the middle of the screen?

Btw, the default "PlayerBottomBuffListPlugin" does not have that afaik. I think you added it yourself.
It is not a good idea to change things in default files since those changes will go away next update.

Trying adding this to your "PluginEnablerOrDisablerPlugin.cs" in "User" folder, under the "Customize()" method:

  {
